Branding was made for a family-owned business that offers delicious mouth-watering BBQ, great choices of smoked meats, as well as their very own sauces and sides. This BBQ joint has a pirate vibe since it’s situated at Point San Pablo Harbor. It is a marina and small community in San Pablo Bay, within Richmond, in Contra Costa County.
Our task was to design a Logo with a pirate mascot behind which are crossed bones because of the name of the roastery itself. The logo was not supposed to be formal at all, but relaxed and in the style of a label, because the this BBQ joint is mostly visited by families.
We began the process in the discovery phase, researching the market of smoked BBQ restaurants. Thereafter, we started mapping out a brand strategy that defined the values of Crossbones BBQ, collaborating on that which does and does not define the brand ideal. Once we were able to define the core beliefs, we entered the creative phase.
Along with the logo, a modern promo video and a professional set of Instagram posts were created for the client. Among other things, a professional social media cover was created that is in line with the brand.
